Part 1, Theory (200 credits)
Course Description: The Discretion course is designed to help secondary students develop the
skill of making wise and responsible choices. Through this course, students will learn about the
basics of discretion, developing decision-making skills, and practicing discretion in various
situations. The course will also cover the importance of developing ethical values and moral
principles.
Course Goals:
 Develop a deeper understanding of discretion and its importance in personal and social
development
 Build decision-making skills and critical thinking
 Practice discretion in real-life scenarios
 Understand the importance of developing ethical values and moral principles
Course Structure: The Discretion course is divided into modules that focus on specific aspects of
discretion, including the basics of discretion, developing decision-making skills, practicing
discretion in various situations, and developing ethical values and moral principles. Each module
includes practical activities, discussions, and reflection exercises that will help students develop
their discretion.
Module 1: Introduction to Discretion
 Definition of discretion and why it is important
 Understanding the basics of discretion
Developing decision-making skills and critical thinking
Module 2: Practicing Discretion in Real-Life Scenarios
 Identifying personal areas for improvement
 Developing strategies to practice discretion in real-life scenarios
 Receiving feedback and support from peers and instructors
Module 3: Developing Ethical Values and Moral Principles
 Understanding the basics of ethical values and moral principles
 Developing skills in ethical decision-making and moral reasoning
 Practicing ethical values and moral principles through group activities and discussions
Evaluation and Assessment: The Discretion course will use a range of assessment methods,
including observation, self-assessment, and formative and summative assessments. Teachers and
instructors will evaluate students based on their participation in class activities, written
assignments, projects, and reflection exercises. The curriculum will also provide opportunities
for peer feedback and evaluation to foster a sense of collaboration and accountability. Students will receive regular feedback on their progress and be encouraged to reflect on their learning and personal growth..
Part 2, Self Evaluation + Peer Evaluation (800 credits)
for 8 times, 6 hours/time coaching on the first Saturdays of each month plus self + peer evaluation during the 8 months
