Part 1, Theory (200 credits)
Course Description: The Self-Control course is designed to help secondary students develop the
skill of self-control and emotional regulation. Through this course, students will learn about the
basics of self-control, developing emotional intelligence, and practicing self-control in various
situations. The course will also cover the importance of developing positive coping mechanisms
and stress management skills.
Course Goals:

Course Structure: The Self-Control course is divided into modules that focus on specific aspects
of self-control, including the basics of self-control, developing emotional intelligence, practicing
self-control in various situations, and developing positive coping mechanisms and stress
management skills. Each module includes practical activities, discussions, and reflection
exercises that will help students develop their self-control skills.
Module 1: Introduction to Self-Control
Definition of self-control and why it is important
Understanding the basics of self-control
Developing emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Module 2: Practicing Self-Control in Real-Life Scenarios
Identifying personal areas for improvement
Developing strategies to practice self-control in real-life scenarios
Receiving feedback and support from peers and instructors
Module 3: Developing Positive Coping Mechanisms and Stress Management Skills
Understanding the basics of positive coping mechanisms and stress management skills
Developing skills in positive coping mechanisms and stress management
Practicing positive coping mechanisms and stress management through group activities
and discussions
Evaluation and Assessment: The Self-Control course will use a range of assessment methods,
including observation, self-assessment, and formative and summative assessments. Teachers and
instructors will evaluate students based on their participation in class activities, written
assignments, projects, and reflection exercises. The curriculum will also provide opportunities
for peer feedback and evaluation to foster a sense of collaboration and accountability. Students
will receive regular feedback on their progress and be encouraged to reflect on their learning and
personal growth..
Part 2, Self Evaluation + Peer Evaluation (800 credits)
for 8 times, 6 hours/time coaching on the first Saturdays of each month plus self + peer evaluation during the 8 months
