The Emotion Traffic Light: Stop, Think, Choose

The Emotion Traffic Light: Stop, Think, Choose helps students ages 9–15 learn how to manage their emotions in a thoughtful and responsible way. Using the simple idea of a traffic light—stop, think, and choose—students discover how to pause before reacting when they feel strong emotions such as anger, frustration, or excitement. Through relatable examples and practical strategies, the course teaches young learners to recognize their feelings, understand what triggers them, and respond in positive and respectful ways.
